This game is really simple.  The clues can be adjusted to fit anything you want the students to practice.  These clues are to help with multiplication and division.


Materials:

Hundreds board and/or multiplication chart


How to play:

1 Player selects a number 1 - 100 and provides clues.  The other Players try to guess Player 1s number by crossing out the ones it cannot be.  The clues should use multiplication vocabulary (ie. prime number, factor of, multiple of, divisible by, etc).                                                                                                                                                                                                                     Use the multiplication chart struggling students. 


Examples:

Player 1 selects the number 25.                                                                                                                                                                      Clue 1  - the number is NOT a prime number                                                                                                                                                 Clue 2 - the number is NOT a multiple of 2                                                                                                                                                   Clue 3 - the number is a factor of 100.


Alternatives:

This game can easily be adjusted.   The possibilities are endless.                                                                                                             The number is less/greater than ____________.                                                                                                                                            If you add/subtract _________ from this number you would get the number ______________.                                                       This number does/does not have a ___________ digit.
